Minimal design and rugged look. That's what Luava is about along with this Single Wrist Band in the color Cognac. It's made out of vegetable tanned Pueblo leather from Italy and it's really high-quality full grain leather that patinates beautifully as you can see in one of the photos. This accessory goes well for men and women.

The width of the wrist band is 1 cm (.39"), thickness 2,2 mm (5-6 oz) and the length depends on the wrist size. Below more info about how to measure it.

You can choose either antique brass or a black nickel stud for it whichever you prefer. The color options for the leather are Pueblo Olive and Pueblo Black.

All orders are made to order so be aware that the crafting time might be up to 2 weeks before shipping as there are other orders in line. 

how to measure your wrist

Take some thread, a twine, thin rope, or even a USB-cord and wrap it around your wrist - neither loosely nor tight. Notice the point where the end of the thread meets the thread and then measure that length. My wrists circuit is 17,8 cm (7.01”) so I use the 18 cm (7.09”) Wrist Band. The length of the Wrist Band is designed so that it’s not tight. If it feels a bit tight in the beginning please don’t worry as it’s leather and it will stretch a bit. Luava leather wrist band badalassi carlo pueblo leather cognac

This beautiful leather is from Tannery Badalassi Carlo, Italy. It's vegetable tanned full grain cow leather and has a unique matt surface made by hand with a special tool giving it also a nice rugged look. The color is cognac and it's dyed through. The leather is made from the shoulder of a cow which makes it strong and thick (2,2 mm / 5-6 oz) yet flexible thanks to the movement of the neck. When the patina kicks in it turns smoother, darker, and a bit shiny and this happens quite fast. It's because the leather is oiled during the tanning process. Also, the oils in the users' skin make patinating happen much faster.

As we are talking about leather there might always be some minor imperfections, blemishes, slight differences of color, and natural signs of the animal's life. Overall the quality of this leather is excellent and it's marked as 1st grade.

Only three months of use the Double Wrist Band Pueblo Cognac turned into the this beauty! Below is a new product that haven't been in use. It's the oils in the leather and the users skin that make the leather age - that's what we call the "earned patina". It's an accomplishment cause it takes time to make it happen and it looks so good! Also as the maker of the leather product, I have no other way to see how it patinates in your use - every item ages differently in the use of different people so please share your patina.

Choosing a color

As Tannery Badalassi Carlo makes Pueblo leather in so many colors I decided to start with three of my favorites: Pueblo Cognac, Pueblo Black, and Pueblo Olive. Pueblo Cognac is what I like to call the "main leather" in my production, Pueblo Black is the "classy and secure"-one and Pueblo Olive is the "extreme". Which one do you prefer? Or do you like them all? In that case, I suggest you create your own color pallet. Maybe one of each or just Pueblo Black and Pueblo Olive?
