Rugged front pocket wallet that carries up to 7 cards and folded cash keeping your carry compact and minimal. With fewer cards you can carry coins in it too. The wallet is handmade with vegetable tanned full grain leather that ages beautifully.

This leather doesn't need maintanence in the beginning, otherwise it looses its rugged characteristic rather quickly.

Apply leather balm to it only when the surface starts to turn smoother and darker.

Traditional methods has always been my thing. That's why I use them to craft handmade leather wallets here in Finland. Using odd-looking handheld tools for a specific step of the process gives my joy every day. It's a blessing that I can do this for a living and I can only thank You for it. Thank you!

Unique leather wallet

The design of Overfold Wallet is pretty unique. It's wrapped around itself forming several pockets. The outcome is compact and original looking leather wallet and it's available in many colors. As you can see in this photo the leather piece looks pretty peculiar before it's wrapped together.

Designing unique leather wallets are one of the most enjoyable parts of my work. The satisfaction after spending hours to design something complex is wonderful - and the outcome is still usually pretty minimalistic and simple. Don't judge the book by its cover.

Handmade leather wallets from Finland

The process of building this wallet is very unique. I cut the leather first, punch holes to it, insert the button parts and finish the edges. Then starts the wrapping! I spread glue to the bottom part of the piece and start wrapping the wallet together so that the pre-punched holes are aligned. After that I hand stitch it together, cut the bottom edge clean and finish the bottom edge to make it shiny. Sounds fast, right? Well, not exactly.

Every step of the process takes a lot of time. For example only the first edge finishing before wrapping takes approximately 15 minutes by hand. I don't use any machines for it because the quality wouldn't meet my standards.

Quality takes time and the time I spend crafting leather wallets is the best time of my day at my workshop.
