Return and refund policy
Returning a product
Ready to ship products can be returned within 14 days after receiving the package (30 days when the purchase is made in December) but the products needs to be in a condition that it can be sold forward (no visible marks of usage). Customer's responsibility is to pay the shipping fees when returning. Luava suggests you to ask for a return label for you to print and tape on top of the package - this cost will most likely be lower and it will be reduced from the refundable price (~10€ / ~$12 / ~£9). Refund will happen when the package has arrived to Luava's workshop. If the product is eligible for a refund the original shipping fee won't be refunded, only the price of the product minus the possible return label cost Luava sends you. If you return the product make sure you pack it well so that the product won't move in the package or get damaged on its way back to Finland.
Leather is a natural material that might have blemishes and marks on it. Of course I avoid marks that might effect on the product's durability and doesn't look good. Slight unevenness and minor marks on the surface of the leather are part of the beauty of leather so those just make the product more unique.
If the returned product has marks of usage Luava isn't responsible of refunding the cost of the product. In this case the product can be shipped back to the customer but the customer is responsible of paying the new shipping fee so make sure not to return a product with marks on it, thank you.
Customized products
If the product you ordered is customized in any way (color combination, custom color thread, personalization with initials etc.) the product is not eligible for a refund as the product isn't in my usual selection.
Below you can see a returned product that has marks of usage meaning it can't be sold forward. This kind of return won't be refunded so make sure you don't return a product in this kind of condition to avoid extra cost for yourself. Thank you :)
